EEC Spring Competition

The Environmental Education Center of the ELCJHL held the annual Spring Competition in April. Through this competition, the EEC offers students the opportunity to work with local professional artists and photographers to learn about nature art and photography. This competition was especially special this year, as many students have not had the chance to spend time outside in nature since October due to dangerous roads and closures throughout the country. We give thanks for the EEC’s ministry which uplifts our calling as Christians to care for God’s creation together....

Palestinian Model United Nations 2024

This year, only out of the four ELCJHL schools were able to participate in the annual "PAL MUN" (Palestinian Model United Nations) conference, held in Ramallah due to harsh restriction of movement. Our School of Hope Students in Ramallah represented the ELCJHL well though, and two of the eleven students present even won awards in the conference. This was a wonderful chance for students to learn public speaking, debate, and self-expression.
