ELCJHL Students Travel for MUN

A group of students from ELCJHL schools recently traveled to Poland to participate in an international Model United Nations (MUN) conference. The event centered around a timely and thought provoking theme: "Understanding the Roots of Polarization to Achieve Harmony."

Our students took on the roles of delegates in various committees, including the Security Council, UNICEF, and the General Assembly, engaging in high level debates and diplomacy simulations.
We are especially proud to share that Mirna Rantisi was recognized with the Outstanding Speaker Award in the UNICEF committee, an impressive achievement that reflects her dedication and skill.
MUN is one of the many enriching programs offered, organized and overseen by the ELCJHL Education Office. The weekly club MUN at the three ELCJHL schools provides students with opportunities to develop essential skills such as public speaking, research, writing, critical thinking, and leadership. Through immersive, hands on experiences, students also gain a deeper understanding of global issues, diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

We are proud of our students for representing our schools with excellence and commitment on an international stage. Their success is a testament to the value of experiential learning and the strength of our educational programs.
