EEC Attends International Conferences
In the last few weeks, the Environmental Education Center participated in two significant meetings on climate justice, biodiversity conservation, and creation care: the Act Alliance MENA Climate Community of Practice (CoP) annual meeting and the Faith-Based Work on Climate Justice and Biodiversity in the West Asia and North Africa (WANA) region. These events brought together over 20 international and regional organizations to discuss regional climate and environmental initiatives, share best practices, and plan future opportunities for collaboration.
During the meetings, Executive Director Simon Awad presented the vital work of the EEC in promoting care for creation, climate justice in Palestine, and ecological awareness in our community. In recognition of the significant work of the EEC, Mr. Awad was elected as Co-Chair by the ACT Alliance.
