Dar al Kalima Lutheran School Hosts Open Day

Under the patronage of Bishop Dr. Sani Ibrahim Azar, Dar Al-Kalima Lutheran School held their Open Day and Educational Exhibition to honor creativity, academic excellence, national identity, and cultural heritage in the school. The event was led by Dar al Kalima principal Rev. Anton Nassar, Rev. Ashraf Tannous, Mr. Adel Khader, and ELCJHL Education Director Ms. Eva Azar.
The day began with an opening ceremony featuring speeches by Rev. Anton Nassar and Ms. Eva Azar, national songs, dabke folk dancing, gymnastics performances, and poetry readings. In the opening prayer, Pastor Ashraf lifted up those suffering in Gaza and prayed for an end to the war.
During the event students exhibited projects in the subjects of Arabic, English, German, mathematics, science, technology, and Palestinian heritage. Students also participated in chess exhibitions and a mini volleyball activity in cooperation with the Palestinian Mini Volleyball Federation.
We thank all the teachers, administrators, parents, and students who made this day possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to highlight the creativity and academic excellence of our students and to honor our cultural heritage.
