Statement from Bishop Haddad on the Israeli Detention of Natalie Abudayyeh
This morning a beloved youth from our church community, Natalie Abudayyeh, was taken at gunpoint by Israeli forces from her student apartment in Birzeit alongside three other women. We are deeply shocked and horrified by this news, as well as by the news that her family does not yet know where she has been taken. Natalie is a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Reformation in Beit Jala, a graduate of Talitha Kumi Lutheran School, and a Media and Journalism student at Birzeit University. ELCJHL Deaf Ministry Completes Food Preservation Course
The ELCJHL Diaconal Ministry, in cooperation with the Palingual Centre and the Our Authentic Heritage Association organized a specialized training course in food preservation for the Deaf Ministry under the supervision of trainer Mona Matar. ELCJHL Schools Hold Sports Day
Under the patronage of Bishop Dr. Imad Haddad, students from three of the Lutheran Schools gathered today in Dar Al-Kalima Lutheran School in Bethlehem for the annual Sports Day! EEC Hosts Palestine Polytechnic University
The Environmental Education Center - Elcjhl welcomed today a group of second-year Biology students from Palestine Polytechnic University, accompanied by Dr. Sharaf Taradeh and Dr. Arwa Mujahid. Over the last few weeks, Bishop Dr. Imad Haddad made his first official visits to the ELCJHL schools, accompanied by ELCJHL Director of Education Eva Azar.
