BEIT JALA – The ELCJHL’s Deaf Ministry held a Bible Study retreat at Abraham’s Herberge in Beit Jala. The two congregations that make up the Deaf Ministry – in Bethlehem and Ramallah – met together to share a day of fellowship and to discuss the Bible and what it means to be a Christian. Since the Separation Wall makes it hard for these two groups to meet, the first half hour is always visiting friends. After that, the congregation learned about one another, their faith, and also took part in activities to strengthen their faith.
