Jerusalem – ELCJHL Bishop Ibrahim Azar, Redeemer Lutheran Propst Wolfgang Schmidt, Anglican Church Jerusalem Archbishop Suheil Dawani, and Episcopal Church Archbishop Michael Curry lead the procession of clergy and congregation members through the Old City.
The Lutheran Church in BeitSahour, The Lutheran Church of Hope in Ramallah, the English, Arabic and German Jerusalem congregations and leaders from St. George’s Anglican Cathedral-Jerusalem كثدرائية القديس جورج في القدس carried the cross in remembrance of our Lord’s suffering this morning.
Other Protestant Jerusalem churches joined the Good Friday tradition.
The Episcopal Church in America Presiding Bishop and Primate Michael Curry was in town visiting St. George’s Anglican Cathedral-Jerusalem كثدرائية القديس جورج في القدس for a Holy Week Pilgrimage. Archbishop Michael Curry and his assistants wrapped up their pilgrimage with the ELCJHL.
