All of the ELCLJHL churches have women's groups, which meet regularly for fellowship and service to their churches. The women make handicrafts that they sell during different times of the year to raise money for the congregations. Today, the women of the Arabic-speaking Lutheran Church of the Redeemer hosted their Christmas bazaar after the service. An annual tradition, the women sell embroidery, linens, pillows, wall hangings and other assorted Christmas items, as well as many favorite foods and sweets. Similar events occur in other ELCJHL churches.
