Dar al-Kalima College buildings were built, in part, by a generous loan funded by the Global Mission Program Unit of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in partnership with the Mission Investment Fund of the ELCA.

Your gift toward the Dar al-Kalima College Loan Repayment Fund will be applied directly toward principal. Gifts will be accepted toward this fund until the $1.2 million dollar loan is repaid.

ELCA Global Gift Instructions

There are many Global Gift options through the ELCA, and so following the instructions below will ensure that your gift gets to the ELCJHL Dar al-Kalima College Loan Repayment Fund as quickly and smoothly as possible:

• Make your check payable to "The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America"
• On the memo line of your check write "ELCJHL Dar al-Kalima College Repayment Fund Project - Global Gift"
• Along with your check send a letter that includes the following information:
  • Your name and address
  • The dollar amount of your gift
  • The designation of your gift to:  "ELCJHL Dar al-Kalima College Repayment Fund - Global Gift"
• Send all of the above to:
